I received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont in Psychology and Environmental Studies. After graduating, I worked as an Interpretive Naturalist at the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and at a Natural History and Science Museum in the Adirondacks. After working for Fish and Wildlife on Johnston Atoll as a biological technician, I moved to Stanley, Idaho to work for the Forest Service. I spent a year working for the Idaho Hunger Relief Task Force, a non-profit organization focusing on connecting private and public resources to eliminate hunger in Idaho through farm to clinic prescriptions. These work experiences are representative of the varying human and natural systems that I am interested in learning about. Through understanding the complexities and nuances of each of these systems, we can work to promote viable solutions that include diverse stakeholders. I am currently studying cover crop adoption and perceptions of resiliency on the Palouse.
